    XP Mode & Active Debugger

Just wondering if anyone can shed any light. Just installed Win7 this week, and I tried to install and place Hitman 1 & 2. I couldnt get them to go in Win7, so I installed XP Mode and installed them in there. Everything is installed fine, but when I go to run the game from inside XP, it comes up with

"This application cannot run with an active debugger in memory. Please unload the debugger and restart the application."

I have checked the boot.ini file and there is no /debug line in there, and I have tried killing processes that are running under local user in task manager, but no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Same Problem...

I was trying to run Talonsoft's Gettysburg game, and had the same thing in XP Mode.

I've seen a few posts from people like us, but not seen any replies!

I'll keep looking and let you know if I find something, and you do the same.

Wish us luck; I love that game!

is the game based on Direct3D? most games use it.

Since Windows XP Mode does not support Direct3D, so the Direct3D game won't work, and that error message might have something to do with it.
