Virtual PC from windows service Local activation error
Sorry for duplicate post. New ont his forum.
I'm trying to run a vbscript that launches a VPC VM from a service. the script work fine when launched manually from explorer or cmd prompt
When I run it from my service (through srvany.exe), i get an this event error:
The application-specific permissions settings do not grant local activation permission for the COM Server Application.
I'm trying to tweak permissions on VPC.EXE, as follows, but all options are grayed out in component services for it.
component services > run as admin > computers > my computer > dcom config > Virtual PC > properties > security
Thanks for any help or information.
