Windows 7: Will my programs work in XP mode?

Will my programs work in XP mode?

Is it possible to find out if the specific programs I need will run in XP Mode?
And I mean...to run well with all features that I use/need.
The programs: Rhino3D vs3.0 and VisualMill 5.0.

If not what would be the best way to run these programs on Windows 7 64 Home
Premium?
Thanks

2 Things. 1 You cant run XP mode on a home premium. Not even 64. 2. To find out what programs require xp mode is that they ran on XP...But cant run now.

I'm writing you from the XP Mode virtual machine right now...i can tell you as i have set it, that everything works fine. I've install some Apps like Pdf X-Change PDF viewer, IrfranView 2.45, Abiword Word Processor...and alternate players.

I 've set 1024ram instead of the 512 default ram.

EDIT:
I think you can use alternate Virtual Machine with Windows 7 Home Pre... No?

See some discuss here:

I should have been more clear...sorry.
I understand I have to upgrade to be able use Virtual PC/XP Mode.
I don't wish to take that step if I can't use the two programs I need.
Is there some way to find out before...or is it a chance type of thing???

My previous post was telling you to have a look around (in this virtualization forum threads) for an alternate XP Mode as VMLite...you could give it a try for your personal use then run your Apps.
