Hardware Not support

    Hardware Not support


    I try to run a Virtualization program but I get the error my hardware does not support this is there any way around this.

    Umm, other than getting new hardware probably not.

    I just checked your hardware out for virtualization support and it says it doesn't have any unfortunately.

    The only possible thing I can think of at the moment is if you are looking to run Windows XP mode which now doesn't require virtualization technology.

    If you want to run XP-Mode on W7, then MS just recently removed the hardware support requirements. This is the details of how to do it.

    VirtualPC 7, with an update, no longer requires hardware acceleration. 64-bit guests are not supported on VPC7.

    VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation, IIRC, run dynamic binary translation for 32-bit guests without hardware acceleration required.

    All VM software, due to x86/x86-64 design restrictions, require hardware accelerated VT to run 64-bit guests.
