How do I uninstall WinXP mode?
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. But anyways,
I'd need to uninstall the Windows XP Mode from my Windows 7. That's because I cannot play Touhou games properly with it on.
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to go to,
Control Panel and then to Programs and Features Find and Uninstall "Windows Xp Mode"
That will uninstall Windows XP Mode..
Hope this Helps...
Welcome to Seven Forums Ehh
you can go to programs and features in the control panel and there you can select xp mode and uninstall. Good luck to you!
Well, I tried that just. Apparently I cannot find the Windows Xp Mode. Hmm.. actually, is there any way to check if I have it? I believe I do, but I'm not sure.
Actually, I just noticed that because I don't, it gives me problems. And there is no way to download it to Home Premium is there?
First you want to uninstall it .. now you you want to install it?? It is not available for your version an any rate...
Do you have a license and disc image of XP? If so, just download VirtualBox and set up an XP virtual machine there to play your older games.
as virtual box is a hyprevisor and inspite of being a software, it after making settings make Guest os see it like a full fledged machine. The os thinks it a machine rather than a virtual environment so installing xp in virtaul box is same as installing it on a new computer.Obviously you need a licence key for that or your get 30 days activate i guess .
You need Win 7 Pro or Ultimate to be able to install MS XP mode for Win 7. However, as others have said, you could download and install virtualbox which is OpenSource (free) software that will let you install XP onto a virtual machine. The big difference is that XP mode installs a fully licensed copy of XP where with VirtualBox you need to supply your own copy of XP.
