Windows 7 - Attaching VHD

| | Attaching VHD When I go into a system image by attaching it as a vhd I like to select "Read Only". I notice that the first time I open an image I need to have "Read Only" unselected in order to mount the drive or else it comes up "unallocated". After it's been opened once I can reopen afterwards with "Read only" selected. Any comments on why the image can't be mounted the first time as "Read only"? |
