Changing System Date in VirtualBox

I recently started using VirtualBox to run Windows XP Mode. I tried changing the system date in VirtualBox but it kept resetting to the current date. How can I overcome this?

Ask Sun/Oracle. It's their software, not Microsoft's. I'll venture a guess that you'll need to disable NTP to start...
