OK, Here is my predicament, recently my windows XP mode was deleted from the active directory on my SBS 2003 Server. Because of this, i am unable to log on to XP Mode. Stupidly, I only made one user account in XP Mode. This is the Domain user account. The local administrator account is disabled and i overwrote the XPMUser account with the domain account, so this is not an option either. So, There really is not an option of going back into xp mode under a local administrator account and rejoining it to the domain. I added XP mode back into the domain computers from the server and manually added it to the Active Directory, but it still give me this error when i try to log on.
"Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not found. Please try again later. It this message continues to appear, contact you system administrator for assistance."
Could this be a problem with the SID or the active directory? Is there a way that i can log on to xp mode to rejoin to the domain with out being connected to the network? Or can i add XP Mode back as a domain computer manually so that i may log on with my network account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
