    Hi Kari

I'd appreciate it if you could get those printing geek friends of yours to take a look after all.

I went to print from Medisoft today and it's back to not working. Ugh. The settings on my print are the settings that made it work before.

    Help.

FYI - I uninstalled the printer drivers. And downloaded the most recent ones from the Brother website. Then I went through the setup.

    It still doesn't work.

    One more thing ...

My reports don't jsut print in the wrong font, they "preview" in the wrong font.

I changed my default printer to "adobe pdf" to see what happens when I preview. It still previews in the wrong font.

I looked through the entire thread and if I missed the answer I apologize but what make, model printer and what driver version is being used? Thanks.........

Found the make as Brother! Still need model and driver and would like to know when you go into the document what font type (style) , size is the Default and when you preview it what does it change to. Thanks...

    It's a Brother MFC 8460n

I'm not sure how to tell what driver it is exactly. I went to the brother web page and downloaded the driver for Windows XP Home/Professional.

I downloaded it from here Drivers, utilities and software updates for your Brother Product

    Jill,
Try this please, uninstall the printer and the drivers then reboot the PC with the printer not connected to it. When the PC boots plug the printer in and let it find it as a new device, once this has completed go to the printer driver and say update driver and tell it to let you choose and what I want you to try is tell it to be an HP 4 printer and print a test page, then launch Medisoft and open an existing document and do a print preview.
