Cannot access network location on host

    This is the situation...

    I got two laptops -

    Laptop A - Windows XP

Laptop B - Windows 7 with XP Mode

I am using VPN in both laptops to accees network locations on the host (same host is used in both laptops) -

In laptop A I am having no problem accessing any location on the host.

In laptop B I can access few locations on the host but in one location, after I enter my user name and password, I am getting the following error -

//servername is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource.

In short, using the same location/user id/password, it is accessible from laptop A but not from laptop B.

    Any help is appreciated...
    Thank you!

laptop a username and password something like john smith 12345 is not the same as
    laptop b john smith 12345

With win 7 UID and pword is machine qualified (ie laptopa\john smith\12345)

Might want to check the win 7 firewall and AV.

    also are you using "homegroup"??

    I am not using homegroup.
What interesting is that I am able to access many other locations on the same host with the same uid/pwd, it is just one specific location that is not working.

    Thanks!
