    How install Windows virtual PC on a Windows 7 platform


    Maybe it's just me - but I can't find any clear instructions, step by step, on how to install Windows Virtual PC on a Windows 7 platform. Can anybody help please?

    However, you can install and run XP Mode also on systems with no support for hardware virtualization. Go to Virtual PC download page, download and install all three files (Virtual PC, XP Mode and XP Mode update).

    Microsoft said:
    XP Mode update enables Windows XP Mode for PCs without Hardware Assisted Virtualization Technology. For more information, visit the Frequently Asked Questions page
