    Having problems using USMT for vhd sysprep!

    Hey there. I sysprep'ed my VHD, it booted fine BUT it FORCED me to make a new account, which I do not want to do.

    I had a custom named administrator as the only admin/user on the box before I made the image etc..

    It's fine for it to boot with that custom named administrator, it's what I want,HOWEVER I do not want to be forced into creating a useless user account.

    So my steps;

    I bring up the vhd for the first time after syspreping it to move it to another system.

    Going thru the setup it wants me to create an account. I type in Jeremy, as that was the admin account on the os before it was virtualized

    It says "USER JEREMY" is already taken asnd existing acc

    It won't let me just use the ADMIN user JEREMY, it's forcing me to create a regular user account to procede with the setup!!!!

    HELP!

    thanks

    All I can find is documentation on bringing users over/creating new users etc....

    nothing on how to make your vhd contain a regular admin account, or allow me just to use my existing administrator account (jeremy).

    --again it forces me to make a new user even though my admin acc jeremy exists on the machine and is accessible, the SETUP forces me to make an unwanted new account.

    help!
