can't connect to public (free) wifi internet

Hi all,

I've a problem that just stump me. I may overlook something while I create my virtual machine in XP mode with my Windows 7 pro laptop. The problem is my machine works fine with my home wireless network which is security enabled. But if I bring it to a public place, such as the library, then when I fire up my virtual machine, it can not connect to that wifi networks for some reason even though Windows 7 works fine.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Ankaa

Hello Ankaa, and welcome to Seven Forums.

In addition, your VM will have a different IP address that your Windows 7 host. You may need to make sure that it is allowed to connect to the wireless network.
