Fax/Dial-up modem
Anyone set up a fax/dial up modem to be used only in a virtual machine and not in the host machine?
How can i go about this?
Im aware that the virtual machine cannot communicate directly with hardware.. Atleast to my knowledge.

In theory, it's possible, just like USB devices can be assigned to a vm, and not used by host. So a modem can be assigned to a vm.
In practice, it seems no virtualizer emulates modem, so it's out of luck, unless someone implements that.
