correct. i went to the msdnaa website and i didn't find anything that would explain why it would reject the key.

note: i did get it to activate by reinserting the same key i used when i installed it, but i still want to figure out why windows rejected the key in the first place, that should never happen.

It's the only reason I could see why my own installed 7 has made me re-activate the same install twice!
...and are you denying that M$ is greedy? AH HA!
