Cannot connect to internet after installing microsoft security update
HI all,
My desktop did a security update (KB2286198) today & after I had installed & restarted I had no internet access. I have the pc in a wired connection via ethernet. My laptop connects no problem (wireless) I have the BT homehub 2.0 & use microsoft security essentials alongside windows firewall.
OS is windows 7 Ultimate.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? I have retored to an earlier restore point before the security update was installed & I instantly fixed the problem, i have done this 4 times now & its becoming a pain in the proverbial
Please Help
