Windows 7: Constant reactivation

Constant reactivation

Hello mates I am in dire need of help!

I am having a ridiculous issue with Windows 7 prompting me to reactivate my product key. It is now a daily occurrence even after successfully reactivating over the phone (online does not work).

It says it is most likely a hardware change that is prompting this but I am running a ASUS laptop and have never changed any of hardware.

I purchased this valid Windows 7 Home Premium 32 and 64 bit upgrade from Vista about a week and half ago. Within a week of installing it prompted me to reactivate, so I did. Three days later it prompted again. I reactivated it last evening and now, almost 24 hours since, It is asking me AGAIN! This time the days remaining till activation is down from three to two...

I am in the process of contacting Windows because not only is having to reactivate over the phone everyday ridiculous, but obviously a valid purchased copy should not be doing this.

Just wondering if any of you have experienced this issue yet and if there are any solutions?

Thank you very much for any help.

(I am running 64 bit)

Try this tool Genuine Microsoft Software,if it doesn't solve your problem too,you have to contact with manufacturer support or MS support

Note that if your laptop shipped with Windows 7, don't call MS - you have to call Asus.

I have had no luck installing 64 bit Windows,(see ACHI blocking installation in INSTALLATION AND SETUP) so reverting to 32 bit is less bother than continuing. The only new hardware that might have caused problems, the new ssd has been eliminated by a successful loading of Mint 17.1. During one of...

Win 7 Reactivation Question
Hi, I have the three license Family Pack version of Win 7 Home Premium. It's a retail copy. I've used all three licenses. I'm planning hardware upgrades on one of those machines, including a new motherboard. In addition, because I'm doubling the RAM from 2GB to 4GB, I'd like to go to the...

I was surprised a bit ago, when Windows popped a dialog saying that due to hardware or driver changes, that it needed to be activated again. I have not recently changed any hardware nor any drivers, so I'm curious how this could be? The closest thread I found here is about some people having a...

Apologies if this is a naive question or in the wrong section but but I'm only a fairly competant user and have very limited technical knowledge, and although I've searched carefully I can't find an answer to this question anywhere. I have Windows 7 Home Premium on my C drive with most of my...
