Did you do an in-place Upgrade from Vista, or a clean install?

Do you have the latest BIOS version update?

I would personally wipe my HD to clean reinstall

but first run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

then if necessary consider a Repair Install

extract the Win7 ISO files to your desktop, rightclick on Setup to "Run as Administrator" to run Repair Install which is an Upgrade over itself.

To make a bootable installer on flash stick for reinstalls/repairs, write the ISO to a flash stick using PowerISO Trial Version: load ISO, click Bootable tab to "Write image file", format stick before Writing.
