    Microsoft Silverlight fails

    hey,
i've got an error code (64c) when i tried to install an update from microsoft silverlight. well, i looked around on the internet and found som useful information, and one of them was to install windows installer clean up, so i did, and uninstalled silverlight.

i restarted my computer and saw that there was an update from silverlight again (KB982926). it said it was succesfully installed and so on, but it doesn't appear in the list of installed programs or in my program files directory etc., i can't find it anywhere.
i downloaded the program from their website too, but when i trie to install it fails.

does someone recognize this problem or have any suggestions of what i can do to fix this shit?

    thanks in advance,
    emma.

As far as I know the only solution is completely reinstall Silverlight

example Silverlight Update KB982926 Installation Issue : The Official Microsoft Silverlight Site

use any good uninstaller e.g Revo to uninstall Silverlight

yeah I had the same error - after a couple of weeks I went to the windows uninstaller utility, removed it - checked Add/Remove - and when I checked the reg key (which was also part of the fix), it was gone. So that convinced me it was gone and reinstalled with the current version.

I just had another Silverlight update and was like "great....not again", but it appears to have worked, thankfully.

Okey, I have deleted the program and the reg key, but still don't work.
I guess I gotta live with it. :P
