Windows 7 x64 Reboot during Microsoft Update

Ok, so I have another thread for this problem but I still have the problem, thus me creating a new one. I recently upgraded the hardware in my PC and got windows 7 home premium x64. Games run smoothy, everything plays great, except for the fact that every time I try to do microsoft updates, the computer just reboots. I replaced the PSU because people told me that might help, and it did nothing. I ran a 4hr memtest86+ on my 4gigs of DDR3 1333 memory and I got no errors, but it still happens. Do I have to reinstall windows or do you think it's something wrong with the motherboard? I hope not, I mean the only thing that is wrong is the restarts on updates and it also occurs when I install random programs. I just really want to solve this problem, I've spent a ton of money and time trying to fix it

Thanks, I'm running the Error Scan right now. Thats what I should be running right? The hard drive is a new 750gig seagate I got a few weeks ago from newegg.com. How should I interpret the results?

Well the old hard drive was starting to fail, that HD was running windows xp professional. The motherboard was screwed too so we decided to replace everything. The Motherboard, the cpu, the ram, the hard drive, the OS. I also replaced the intel stock heatsink since it didnt keep the CPU cool properly. Later I replaced the PSU because I thought that was causing the problems. The problems have been happing ever since installing windows 7 x64 home premium on the hard drive with all the new hardware. I honestly have no idea what it is. Graphic intense games run with no reboots or errors, It's just windows update consistantly, and random program installs/uninstalls.

Yeah, the most graphically intense one is a MMORPG. Do you think a network driver would cause restarts on windows updates?

Well Windows Update causes the reboot everytime. As for programs, I can't remember exactly with which programs it crashed but recently when I was installing League of Legends, it crashed twice before I could install it successfully. I'm sorry, I can't remember much more than that. I updated my network driver btw. Let me try updating again but I doubt that will do it.

Edit: Nope, still restarts during update.
