I saw all of the errors in this sub-forum, and didn't see one that matched mine. So, I apologize if I did miss it.

I'm trying to Activate a LEGAL, LEGAL copy of Win7 Enterprise 64Bit! I'm getting an error code when I try to do it online:

The Error Code is: 0x8007232B. It says "DNS name does not exist."
I wish geeks would learn how to talk english.

I found the little $29 doodad ErrorEnd. REALLY? M'soft can't give me a free solution? I didn't do anything wrong. Oh! It doesn't really make sense to do a restore, when I never got Windows activated anyway. Am I correct on this assumption? So, I bought the stinking doodad, and it still didn't work! I could REALLY use some help here.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hello gplea, welcome to SevenForums!

How are you trying to activate this? KMS activation?

Thanks Tom. I'm simply using the Activation in Windows under Computer/Properties/Activate.

Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/windows-updates-activation/234159-windows-genuine-activation-issue-posting-instructions.html

Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
