all the updates failed! Fresh install of Win 7 64bit home premium!

Seriously what the hell? I bought and clean installed my Windows 7 just two days ago. Since then windows update as downloading updates and yesterday evening I switched off the computer and it installed them all during shutdown. Today it was configuring updates for more then 5 minutes (no percentage changing) and then I just briefly saw "reverting changes" and my event log / administrative events is now flooded with Windows update client messages like "
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x800705b4: Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB976662)."
just now when I write this there is a popup "restart your computer to finish installing important updates" but there are no new messages in eventlog so I wonder what was installed (if anything) I will now restart and see...

all right so after the restart the computer again tried to configure updates, but this time the percentage rose correctly and something clearly happened. I see 5 new messages from windowupdateclient about successfull installation of updates. And also 10minutes earlier there is about 50more such messages... So it seems it went right on the second attempt OMG this system looks like I programmed it :-]

And yes I have a lot of updates in that control panel / installed updates installed this day...

It's interesting that these 51warnings did not affect the reliability index in reliability monitor...It is still 10. Maybe Microsoft does not want it's own product failures to affect this number

OMG I would like to write the f word here right now! After another restart my windows 7 does not boot because it crashes into blue screen of death! What the hell now? And I cannot read the codes because it automatically restarts (this settings is quite stupid by default IMO) What can I do now? Please advice.

I am writing from my notebook. Safe mode does the same - BSOD and immediate restart I already did a checkdisk from my other system Windows XP but it did not find any errors on that drive.
Last known good configuration also did not help

I fixed it! OMG I have to apologize for freaking out because it was my mistake. Now when I disabled the automatic restart from F8 menu and I saw the BSOD (it was 0x0000007B) I realized what is the problem! I loaded different profile of the BIOS settings and it contained IDE settings for the HDD instead of AHCI! I would not imagine this will cause windows 7 crash on boot! So I hope now it will work for some time ...
