How long have you had Win 7 installed? Did you put your Activation Key in? Where did you buy your Win CD, from a local store, a reputable online store or on a place like Ebay?

Assuming you have a computer that either came with windows 7 or you have a legitimate upgrade: Make sure you have an internet connection and your firewall is off, then from the start menu, type services and open the result, scroll down to software protection, start the service and wait a few minutes. If there is no change, contact microsoft and start complaining

Before you begin complaining, tell us where you "obtained" Windows 7, also, did you even register the product or enter the key that should have came along with the software?

Hey guys, it went away. But, left another problem. If I take the cursor off of the taskbar (i.e. on a program, and then off), the taskbar will still act like the cursor's there.

In the photo: the black dot is the location of the cursor when i pressed print screen.
