encountered the same problem like above. Restore and hide the update file, after that i didn't notice the problem again. I was trying to uninstalled the update but still the problem persisted. Only restore method works on this problem.

Update your video drivers through the manufactures' web site. Then see if KB2454826 will install correctly without causing a BSOD.

thanks for the info . did a system restore and hid the update for now. without it installed i can access my folders again. also my gfx driver is upto date. thanks again

I just found the right things to fix the problem. Go to the link below and download Folder fix and then install it to the registry.

Everything works fine back now after the update.
