Windows 7: SP1 kills!

SP1 kills!

I down loaded SP1 and when the computer rebooted it had an error it was stuck on vault.dll please help. I have already tried startup repair and the disc.

Vault.dll belongs to Comodo. simply boot into safe mode and re-install Comodo.

From what I can see Comodo does have a file by the same name though. When if freezes on that file, does it indicate at all which or where it is?

Dogz when you did the startup repair, did you try running System Restore to the point before installing SP1?

You said you had tried "Startup Repair and the disk."

You need to run Startup Repair from the DVD Repair console or Repair CD:
Startup Repair
System Repair Disc - Create

When asked, agree to have it run System Restore.

If it doesn't ask or fails to start, boot back in to run System Restore.

This is exactly why I don't use RC releases...never a good idea IMO

Yes, it was a leaked RTM or Releast To Market. It works just fine, I have installed on my system and it runs better than before.

Faster, more responsive, etc.
