    KMS License count decreasing

I have a question regarding KMS licensing of our Windows 7 workstations. In January, I imaged around 200 machines. Within days I could see that the machines had registered and licensed themselves against our KMS licensing server, I could see the machine count increasing. Just over a month has gone by and I have a few more machines to add to the network, I also have some new laptops arriving this week. However, I am unable to license any of my newly cloned machines because now my KMS server reports that the count is insufficient. The KMS server shows only five machines. My existing licensed machines won’t check again for 165 days but in the meantime I am unable to license any of my new machines.

I have used my VAMT tool and I can see that my existing Windows 7 machines are licensed and Office 2010 is activated happily as well.

Any suggestions on how I can activate my new machines now that the count has dropped to 5 and I don’t have enough new machines/license requests to kick KMS back into action?

I don't understand how KMS can forget about the other 200 machines already licensed last month.

Well it turns out that even though I sysprepped my image with the generalize option for some reason all the cloned machines all have exactly the same CMID. [display using slmgr /dlv] My sysprep files are correct and they should rearm on installation but they don't

So to resolve my issue I just need to run slmgr -rearm on each machine to generate a new CMID
