    I tried run system restore no restore dates saved
    I installed win 7updates yesterday
    doing a cbeckdisk now
      My Computer

    Make sure System Protection is turned on for your C Windows 7 drive at Start>rightclick Computer>Properties>System Protection. Configure more space on disk to make restore points last longer.

    If it's turned on now, then try running it again. System Restore

    If no points again show up, run System Restore from the Win7 DVD or Repair CD: System Recovery Options

    Tnank you after checkdisk finishes ill do that

    is finished said disk is clean

    well i fixed it uninstalled win 7 sp1 and its working like a charm

    Was that the beta?

    THe SP1 version delivered by Updates is much leaner (mine only 60mb) and goes in as smoothly as any other Update, so you might try it that way?

    Because a Service pack contains essential Security Updates and some other Microsoft Products will Require Service Pack 1

    Please Install As soon as possible
