Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Slipstream OEM DVD

Just wondering before I begin to update images to include SP1. Using MSFT OEM media is the method the same as with Vista SP slipstreaming? Install the OS on a reference system, install required update KB2454826, update to SP1, SP1 cleanup, sysprep /generalize /oobe, capture image(s) HomePremium, Pro, Ultimate using imagex as install.wim with the "append" argument, replace install.wim with the updated image and then recreate the catalog files using Windows System Image Manager. I generally install via file or image servers.

Hello there, let me welcome you to the forums

I think this is what you need

Slipstream Windows 7 SP1 into a Installation DVD or ISO File
Windows 7 Universal Installation Disc - Create
USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create (in case you want to install on the USB instead of a DVD)

Here: in case you need the imagex file to create an universal DVD: creating a 2 OS thumb drive (Download the imagex16385.zip)

Cheers
