    What happens if you don't activate your windows?


    What happens if you don't activate your windows? What would Microsoft do about this? Its not that I don't have a licensed windows but I'm just curious what might happen if I don't get to activate/validate my windows but still could you it.

    You have to activate it, or it goes into reduced functionality mode.
