    Salvation!!

Hiyya p5bdkw Mate I did this on numerous occasions plus a heap of other stuff and thought - ummmm here we go again.

But you were right I rechecked the date and look when you are dealing with idiots expect idiots comprehension.

The date at first glance was right - except that it was Monday the 5th now I know that we sometimes think it's another day when it isn't and then I remembered signing something this morning in town dated the 4th.

Checked the date and time in cont pan and guess (well someone with a brain would have known!!) what - the year was still at 2010!!

Now I know I deserve a good thrashing and possibly made to go to my room and be denied use of the machines for a errrrr a couple of minutes but am downloading about 200Mb of stuff as I type!

I eckon what threw me was that I had a history that showed updates already on the machine and didn't pick up on why they took so long to be found - usually one sees them straight away.

Anyway you are a genius in my book - f ever you land up in an Emergency room where I sometimes work - you'll live lol!!

Thank you so much I appreciate your persistance and patience a great deal, and for those who have told me the same thing in the past my humble apologies.

nyway better stop rambling - just so excited at learning a valuable lesson!!

You may also want to check your event log to see if there's anything apparent which could have suddenly changed your system time.

I did have a few BIOS issues a few days ago which took some very clever working out by the Bare Foot Kid - jeez he's a whizz isn't he??

Come to that most of you blokes seem to be the same.
