    * Did you check in Event Viewer for errors?

    * You could try downloading the updates manually from the Microsoft download site.
    Save on your hard disk.
    Install by double clicking on them.

    I never had any problem with updates before. Internet explorer 9 is the one that gives me trouble. It first download the update and then ask for closing some programs. Once done it start installing but crash at that point. Don't know what to do next.

Hi there, I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I have found myself unable to update with the following updates: KB980232 KB981332 I have already run sfc /scannow and Readiness Tool - but with no luck. I am attaching CheckSur.log and sfcdetails.txt.
