Try doing a shutdown PC, I have seen some updates dont fully install until the system is shutdown. Then turn the power back on and run Windows update again.

Ok I would try going to the temp folder and cleaning it out reboot and then restart the update process, also make sure there is not a lot of programs running the in system tray, something might be stopping the install, try running malware scan and make sure the system is clean.

You mean user/app data/ local/temp? If i delete the whole folder, wouldnt it affect the computer?

MSE updates flagged in Win 7 updates but not XP Mode updates
I find it odd that when I do a Windows Update in Windows 7, the Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) updates are also found. But if I do a Windows Update in XP Mode, the MSE updates are not found. I don't suppose this is controllable? I'd like the Windows Update to find MSE updates.
