Nevermind on the download question. I have the SP1 and something else downloading. Not the original 4 that failed, in case you're wondering.

They are in the Temp folder Derek.

So they try to install everytime he boots. A loop effect. I don't know where the Win Update Temp folder is or where to find it.
    I never needed to.

So they are not showing as a download to install so he can't hide them.
Well, how about disk clean up?

Disk Cleanup - Open and Use

    It'll clean Temp files.

Rbeldua, I tried something similar, related to the updates that were failing and it didn't work. Thanks though.

Could you share the solution you used so that it may help someone else with this same problem.
    Thanks

He hid the updates after turning Win Update to "Notify" instead of "Automatically download and Install updates."

I also hid the original offending updates.
