    Upgrade from xp to vista

So i am not really familure with pcs this old, i mean its not supper old but, compared to mine, anyhow, p.s. this is a family members pc lol

    Windows xp Home edition
    Intel Celeron M 1.50Ghz
446 mb Ram! EEEPPP!!! lol thats bad
    laptop gateway

So, i just cleaned the heck out of it, with a few tweaks, and it runs waaaay better than it did, but my question,

will upgrading this 32bit system to vista help with performance any? I need a realistic oppinion, i know its very cheap to upgrade and ram is cheap, but with a pc like this for family, i wanna know if it will help at all. Thanks in advance

For a sysem as old as that, I'd opt for a trimmed down version of XP. Cut down the useless programs & functions you wont use or need.

As in Disable Uneccesary Fetures ...etc

XP Is very Business Based and contains a lot of VPN Features etc so Disable those

    Upgrade from xp to vista-xp.jpg

I actually meant he could do a slipstream version of XP; trim the fat off of it.
