Can't see language packs in optional updates.

Before you ask, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. I want to install the Korean language pack, but no language packs appear in the 'optional updates' windows. I've installed Japanese before, so I know I can install languages. The languages are not hidden either cause I've checked. Halp?

Thanks, but is there any way to restore the ability to download languages through Windows Update?

Have you installed SP1 recently ?
If yes, that may be the reason........

For each " build number " there is a matching MUI packs.
    Ex : 7600 build has 7600 MUI.
If SP1 is install, the build number is now 7601. Therefore MUI 7600 no longer applies. Hence it is removed from Windows Updates.

    Hello Dkamm,

After using OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to reset Windows Update History, it should restore the language packs after you check for updates next.

    Windows Update - Reset

    Hope this helps,

Hmm... That din't change anything, other than restoring some hidden updates. I guess I'll just install languages manually with the link provided.
