Error code 800736CC

After installing SP1 on W7 x64 the above error occurred, any help please to get it working?

That is not great news.

Please copy the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder to your Desktop, right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, and upload the new file which is created on your Desktop here.

When I go to open CBS folder it tells me access is denied.

Can you copy and paste the folder to your Desktop, or not? Often you can, but usually you can at least see inside the CBS folder.

No it won't let me copy and paste.

It has now on my desktop but I have to go out now for a couple of hours. The list has about 500 lines to it.

No problem! I will be around whenever! Just copy the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder to your Desktop, right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, and upload the new file which is created on your Desktop here, and I shall take a look at it for you!

I have now uploaded

Sp1 has now installed, I did it through the Microsoft site. Thanks anyway for your help Richard. I was starting to give up hope.
