Ah. I get where you are coming from now. Thank you so much for sharing, and really sorry for stepping on your toes.
Oh no. We have just gone on a wild goose chase, both of us, and it is all my fault!
I did standard lookup on 0x8007000d. Standard lookup works on almost all error codes:
Code:
C:\Users\Richard>err 0x8007000d
# for hex 0x8007000d / decimal -2147024883 :
STIERR_INVALID_HW_TYPE stierr.h
STIERR_INVALID_HW_TYPE stierr.h
# 2 matches found for "0x8007000d"
C:\Users\Richard>
I have just gone through the logs:

Dang! winerror.h comes up perfectly!
Anyway, windows6.1-kb976932-x86-express.cab is corrupt in that error message. The Aggressive Mode fix should fix that.
My only other thoughts are that we seem to have a lot of corrupt files on this computer. I am starting to become slightly suspicious about the integrity of the hard disk, actually.
Sorry Jacee! I should have spent more time making sure about that error code.
