Windows 7: Updates Installation

HI Guys

Newbie. Tech knowledge is very limited t/4 request your patience

Short resume of my system as follows:

Win 7 Home Edition 32bit Sp1

Within past weeks have been experiencing problems with installation of updates, not only most recent Windows Updates but also with Skype as per attachment.



The Skype attachment suggests it is perhaps MSI
The error messages for Windows Updates as follows:

Code 80070002
Code 80070641
Code 641

I realize information supplied might be limited but should any further info be required, will forward upon request.

Your response appreciated.
Unfortunately having gone thru the articles suggested, brought me no
closer to solving problems being experienced, t/4 decided to perform procedure which I did not want to carry out. I.E reinstalling Win 7.

Having completed the procedure, problems have been rectified.
