Have pretty much the same problems. Do your windows help files work? Can't see anything on there. I tried the support assistant for my HP computer and I go to the chat and cannot see it! What the heck. Tried everything.

I don`t know what really has. I uninstall some of the updates and i think they installed back. There is nothing what i can do. And something else, when I play a game, or i see a movie the taskbar appears. Like I push the windows button. A really mess up!

What I ended up doing was creating a new profile. Try that and see if the problem goes away. Mine did. I ended up spending some time transfering everything over. Took a while but better than getting pissed off and not finding a fix.
