    New Folder created after update?

So I recently installed a few updates a couple days ago and I noticed that in a certain directory there was a new folder made. In C:\Users path there normally owner or whatever your name my be and public, but now there's a temp folder that has a lock pad on it. I tried deleting it but it keep copying itself. Also when I try to look at the folder properties its says its a network shared folder. Any idea I have a weird feeling about this folder.

That could be an artifact leftover from the updates.

When updates/programs are installed they will create temp files that are locked so there will not be any outside interference when the updates/programs are being installed.

Try Disk Cleanup - Open and Use Scroll down and make sure the temp files box is checked, then click OK, and let it do its thing.
Check back at the Folders location to see if it was removed.

    What anti-virus do you use,,?
Is your system up to date?
    Also run > MALWAREBYTES
Remove TEMP files = "WindowsKey + R" > %TEMP%(Delete all files in this location)

Hey guys thanks for the replies I tried both recommended methods and both doesn't seem to do the trick. Also isn't there a way to take a screenshot of your display with a function key and something? I know kinda off topic but I wanted to post some screen shots of the properties.

    • Restart your machine in Safe Mode.
    • Navigate to the folder in question (C:\Users\Temp).
    • Right click Folder, move down to Delete.
    • Click on Delete.

get avast antivirus and go for boot scan,,, this will help you solving the problem,,, you may get its trial version from internet,,,there are actually worms and they keep on creating folders under folder,,,but it does no harm to system performance like other viruses,,

please let me know if i have helped you
