question about slipstreaming sp1 on windows 7

hello world, i have a i guess its original since its from a while ago, version of windows 7 for hp, but i want to update it to sp1 via RT seven lite, but i was wondering, if i put SP1 in the installation, will i need to put any other updates that was out BEFORE the sp1, or does sp1 package contains all of those already?, just trying to update it, so when i reinstall dont have to wait forever for it to get up to date. so trying to do that.. and was thinking if i can do that and dont need the other updates, that once its installed i will only need updates after Sp1.

thanks for the clarification and help :)

Hello Qwert, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You'll only need to add the updates after SP1 to the slipstream installation disc if you didn't want to have to install them after reinstalling Windows 7.

Slipstream Windows 7 SP1 into a Installation DVD or ISO File

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
