For me the error is 0x80004005 (non specific) - what I don't see is the Error Number that you have reported. It's possible that I overlooked this.

in my case I get the error 0x800F0A12. I followed the instructions here

Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installation error: 0x800F0A12


but the error reported is "The boot configuration data store could not be opened.
The requested system device cannot be found."
