    trust_e_nosignature(ox800b0100)

    Hello!

I've tried to fix this for some time now, but now luck on MSsupport nor google!
everytime i try to install the SP1 for W7 it fails and the error code trust_e_nosignature(ox800b0100) comes up. I feel i've tried everything!
Does anyone have any suggestions, or should i just give up and go back to Windows 3.11??

hoping for some answers (don't want to go looking for my old floppydisks

    You might stry this:

With this error code 0x800b0100 - There is an inconsistency in the Windows Servicing Store and you have two options

    1. Run the System Update Readiness Tool Windows 7 SP1 System Update Readiness Tool - Softpedia and SFC /Scannow

    2. if both this option fail then you have no other choice then do a inplace upgrade

I am sure inplace upgrade will definetly will fix the problem with inconsistency in Windows servicing store

    * Did you follow this advice?
Run the System Update Readiness Tool Windows 7 SP1 System Update Readiness Tool - Softpedia and
    SFC /Scannow

    * I suggest you go to the Microsoft Update Solution Center website to find more information about the error code or to request support by e‑mail.

Refer Error messages in the left hand side.

    * Below is a link mentioned on the "Microsoft Update Solution Center website"

    Go to the "experts."
SP1 support is available,I believe, free of charge.

I will try out these advices :) Have been on the MSsupport page earlier, with no luck. And the personal support costs almost 500NOK (almost $100), phone or e-mail,so thats out of the picture!

Jacee: As i understud the inplacent install the link was form was for vista to W7 uptade error?! maybe i didn't get it right!

I'll check everything out. I'll come back with the results.

I can see where that might be confusing, from the heading of the tutorial ..."Vista to Seven" ....

This tutorial Repair Install is probably less confusing.

Both are ran from the desktop and you choose the upgrade option when prompted,

Hopefully that clears up any confusion, any other questions, just ask.
