After installing Windows 7 x64 SP1 Problem

So I just installed windows 7 SP1 and now I am unable to open any folders without encountering the error "Windows Explorer has stopped working," which shuts everything down. I can't even open my control panel or windows updates folder.

Any solutions?

I can't look at my system specs because of the windows explorer problem. From the top of my head I have a Intel Core 2 duo 2.5gh processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M, and 6 GB ram. This is a laptop.
