Problems Uninstalling SP1
I've been having major wireless issues for about 6 weeks now. My computer picks up my home network all the time but doesn't always allow me to connect to it. Sometimes it connects first time and is fine for an hour until it kicks me off. Other times it takes several attempts or adaptor resets to even connect then it kicks me off after five minutes and I have to do the same thing all over again or reboot. After exploring many different options, I've come to the conclusion that the fact that this problem started the evening after I installed SP1 in the morning is a bit more than a coincidence. I therefore want to try and uninstall SP1 to see if this solves my internet woes.
I do have the backup files but my laptop did not come with a Windows recovery disk. Every time I try and uninstall SP1, it stays on the uninstall screen with the green bar filled for about 30-45 minutes before saying 'error - not all upgrades have been uninstalled'. As I have the files I need to uninstall it, I'm very confused as to why this is happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - I've been pulling my hair out over this for 6 weeks!
