I thought so. So thing is you're knowingly or unknowingly using pirated windows. This is a self built machine so it cant possibly have OEM SLP windows. And you cant use other people's copies of windows, 1 license on 1 machine only.

Please buy a genuine copy.

ok i had an idea that it was fake but i wasnt too sure. Is there a certain amount of time before my windows runs out so that i cant use my computer? At the moment im fine using it with just the black background, its just sort of irritating, but other than that everything runs smoothly and nothing is wrong. Will this change?

Actually it wont, you,ll get recurrent nag screens though. Theres no kill switch in 7. But its a breach of the eula to use a copy after the trial period is over without a license. Plus anything that needs genuine validation will fail.

Yer i have been getting those little nag screens down the bottom (not too bad). I will get onto getting a valid copy of windows 7 asap. Also does that mean, for example; if i install a game and enter a CD key it wont accept it? or is that for something else?

FWIW the WAT system has discovered a hacker's Loader tool to be in use - you need to remove that before anything else. - 0xc004c4ab is a Loader discovered error
Unfortunately there are a number of these tools, and the WAT system doesn't distinguish between them, and you need to know which one is installed before you attempt removal.

Since the probability is that the system is also infested with malware, a clean install may be a good idea. even if it is a hassle

It may, may not.

Please note, OP's windows has already been flagged non-genuine so that issue is settled and it appears he intends to buy genuine windows. Also OP has not asked for assistance with malware so presumably he doesn't ave a malware problem.

I was aware of the fact that it had been flagged as non-genuine - otherwise he would not have posted an MGADiag report

However you had NOT identified the correct reason for the MGADiag results - the flag is for a Loader. The fact that it's a non-valid OEM_SLP Key is almost irrelevant, as even a genuine install would show as non-genuine with a detected Loader present.

Hacker's Loader tools (or install disks that include them) frequently come pre-packed with malware, and the OP may not be aware of that , and may not even be aware that a Loader existed. The isntall may be rootkitted in such a way as to hide from the more common AV's, or anti-malware apps, and as such cannot be trusted.
The logical remedy is therefore a reformat/reinstall with genuine media, whther the system is presenting evidence of infestation or not.
