What this effectively means is actually exceedingly similar to your previous SP1 error.

I suspect that we have a slightly deeper, rare, same vein issue.

Please copy the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder to your Desktop, right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, and upload the new file which is created on your Desktop here.

Oh yes,
I ran across the same thing as Richard.

Sure am glad that he is the one analyzing the cbs.log file.

I also will not be surprised if you have trouble installing other MS updates, in fact, I'm going to be surprised if I get back three yes answers.

I was afraid that would be the case.

There is a very recent FixIt for install problems.

Now I make no promises, but I must say that I'm interested in your experiences when you try this:

Diagnose and fix program installing and uninstalling problems automatically

This is a Microsoft FixIt and, from the description they give, at least the fixit should do no harm.

I run it, and he say if i have problems in install some software, i say yes, and give me a list of applications, but i cant found any that i need, so i put Not Listed and he says that he dont found any problem on system.
