Hello,

These 2 updates are in Windows update awaiting to install.
Once (and it wasn't at first install) there was an error message and i deleted some files as directed by MS help page.

Now they are always in the Windows update page, I install, no error, they are still there...

Thanks for your help.

Hello!

Please follow my (temporary) tutorial here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/186275-windows-update-fix-repeatedly-offered-update.html

The section about a repeatedly successful update applies to you. Please do not crate another new thread, but just post back here.

(I want to give that link rather than just describe that single command so that once I have re-written that tutorial in the near future, further steps will there in place of the current placeholder of a new thread)

Thanks a lot!

Richard

Thanks, guys

I followed both your advises to no avail. The only way out was to hide the updates.

Take care,
