after windows7 upgrade, system won't come up & can't back out update

my neighbor borrowed my laptop with Windows 7 64 bit which I haven't used since June. She allowed all the upgrades that had queued up to install overnight. since the upgrade, the system will not come up.

I have tried to uninstall, go in via safe mode, used the diagnostic disk, etc, but can't get the system to come back up. Is this a known issue and if so, what is the fix?

Welcome to Seven Forums loritopor. If you could explain exactly what happens, error messages, what you see when you try to start the system, it would help anyone who tries to help you. So we know what you have, please fill in your system specs.

Give your neighbor a kick in the butt from me and don't let other people play with your system anymore.
