    Windows 7 SP1 Error 800B0100

    Hi all,

I have seen that several others have received help in solving this problem, so I would be very grateful if I could receive some help as well. I am getting error 800B0100 while trying to install SP1 for windows 7 x64. I have Windows Home Premium 64 and have tried all the usual fixes such as running the System Update readiness tool, clean booting, manual install of the SP during a clean boot, etc. but nothing seems to work. I have attached a copy of my C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder if that helps!

    Thanks in advance!

Hello, and welcome to the Seven Forums!

Well done for trying all that you have so far. :) However, the one log which I need isn't there.

Could you please post your C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log if you have one.

    Thanks a lot!

Hi niemiro, thanks for the reply!

Hmm, the only thing I can think that has happened is that I "cut" instead of "copied" that file while I was trying to fix this problem with MS tech support (who weren't able to help by the way).

Anyway, here's the latest file attached. Thanks again and I really appreciate your help.

    Thanks,
    Dustin

Are you around niemiro? Been trying all I can think of/find but I'm not having any luck. Is the checksur.log file I attached in my previous post the file that you needed?

    Thanks!
